Four Steps to Protecting You and Your Loved Ones…

Making a Will can be a daunting procedure and getting it wrong can have serious consequences, but WSL is here to help and advise you every step of the way.

Step One

When you get in touch with one of our helpful team, we’ll have a short telephone conversation about your situation, and then if appropriate we’ll arrange for one of our Legal Consultants to visit you. This can happen in your home at a time that’s convenient for you.

Step Two

During the appointment a WSL Legal Consultant will go through everything with you in detail. They will explain the legal powers of Executors, Guardians and Trustees so it is easier for you to decide whom to appoint.

They will also carefully explain what allowances the HMRC offers you with regards to Inheritance Tax and will ensure that you have a thorough understanding of what can be done to avoid this tax, making this complex area of financial planning simple.

Step Three

The consultant will then obtain a clear understanding of your circumstances and the structure of your estate. They will then carefully record your wishes and decisions, to ensure that your loved ones inherit how you intend.

They will then suggest any other services that may be suitable for you and take payment so that our legal department can start drafting your documents.

Step Four

Within 28 days of your appointment our legal department will send your Will for your approval, along with clear guidelines on how to sign and witness it. After this, your Will becomes a legally binding document.

WSL makes the whole process as quick and easy as possible for you, giving you the best advice and the highest standards of service.

In the last 25 years we have written over 120,000 Wills, helping thousands of families and individuals protect what is precious to them.

Please Don’t Put Off Writing Your Will

Sadly, of course, none of us know when our Will is going to be needed. Putting it off for another day could mean that your wishes aren’t binding in the event of your death, and that your family won’t get everything you want them to.

Make Your Final Wishes Clear

Will Writing Services can prepare a legally binding, comprehensive Will, based on your personal wishes for just £135 for one person, or £180 for a couple. We don’t use templates or “preformatted” Wills like you find in stationers or on the Internet. Our legal consultants are available to take your instructions day or evening, seven days a week, in the comfort of your own home.

“I am very grateful for all your help with my late husband’s Will, probate and the Land Registry. Everything went very smoothly and quickly giving me a chance to move on. Thank you so much, I would highly recommend your company to friends and family.”Mrs Phillips, Kent
“When my husband died WSL were extremely helpful and informative, guiding me through the process of probate.”Mrs Ryan, Middlesex
“We had a first visit from your consultant today, and I am writing to say how very pleased we were with the quality of the service she gave us.
She was warm and personable, but at the same time very competent. She carried out her work in the greatest detail, yet fully engaged us in the process, explaining things very clearly, and giving us confidence that we were in full possession of the facts, so that we could make the best decision for our futures.
I am delighted that I chose WSL, because some of the information we were given by your consultant was highly significant, yet we were unaware of the facts. She completely exceeded my expectations regarding the type of legal executive who would be visiting us.
I would not hesitate to recommend WSL to anyone else who has not written a will, or put in place Lasting Power of Attorney.”Mrs Moon, Bedford,
